Financial innovation and market dynamics: the role of securities regulation

CONSOB and Bocconi University, through its CAREFIN and Paolo Baffi research centers, are organizing a conference on financial innovation, capital markets dynamics and the implications for securities regulation.
The conference will focus on the following issues:
- financial innovation and systemic risks for securities markets;
- market microstructure and trading strategies;
- new financial products and households portfolio choices;
- financial education and suitability of financial products for retail investors;
- implications of financial innovation for regulation and supervision of securities markets.
